It would be lovely if everyone could bring food to share at lunch time, however due to the current circumstances we ask you to bring your own packed lunch. Other refreshments like tea/coffee, milk (dairy and non dairy), biscuits and fruits are available.

We would also ask you to bring your own yoga mats, blanket and cushions for your comfort, refillable water bottle, sturdy shoes or welly boots and weather appropriate clothing.

Who is the Self-Love Retreat suitable for?

This retreat is designed for anyone who is interested in learning the foundations of self-love i.e. definition of self-love, ways to practice and express self-love and how to develop and sustain self-love. This retreat aims to help those who wish to explore techniques which can help to accept yourself fully, treat yourself with respect and kindness, and nurture your growth and well-being.

The retreat is suitable for anyone who has very little experience in meditation and also for those who wish to develop their well-established meditation practices. The retreat is also suitable for those who has minimal mobility issues so are able to join in a short walk in nature and able to perform simple stretches and yoga poses (please note that all activities are optional)

Self-love is universal and unconditional, so it is accessible to anyone regardless of your age, gender, race, religious beliefs, history or where you are in your life right now. We all deserve self-love simply because we exist.

Who is the Retreat NOT suitable for?

It is very important to us that you can make the best possible use of the Retreat so physical and mental stability is a basic requirement for your participation.

This retreat may not be suitable if you are recently bereaved or have had a traumatic experience in the last 6 months.

If you have a clinical mental condition and you are undergoing therapeutic or drug treatment or have been in therapeutic or drug treatment in the past, we expressly point out that you should only take part in the retreat after prior consultation with your therapist or your doctor.

In all other cases, please clarify individually with your doctor or your therapist whether

participation is right for you at this moment.

This wonderful one day retreat will take place in idyllic rural surroundings of The Matara Centre, near Tedbury, Gloucestershire.

We will have exclusive access to the grounds  and gardens.

The retreat will give you education and ideas on how to improve your relationship with yourself and begin the life changing journey to yourself. Our meditations are deep and may trigger many different emotions, so please be aware and mindful of that. As part of your own self-care, we would encourage you to seek the help and advice from a mental health professional or a doctor should you experience any adverse experiences from the retreat.

Covid 19 Policy : 

We would ask all participants to carry out a lateral flow test on the day of the retreat. If you are tested positive then please do not attend the retreat and let us know as soon as possible. We would also kindly ask

you to refrain from attending the retreat if you have symptoms of a cold or flu within 5 days of the retreat. There is a cancellation policy whereby you can have your money refunded (minus the processing fee) or you

can choose to put that money forward to attend another one of our retreats/events in the near future.

During the retreat, the venue will be well ventilated and we will endeavor to maintain social distancing. We will also provide hand sanitisers around the venue and wearing masks is optional.

Cancellation Policy:

Unless you are canceling because you have tested positive for Covid 19 on the day, then we would only accept cancellation at least 21 days before the date of the retreat. All cancellations will be offered an option

of a refund (minus processing fee) or you can choose to put that money forward to attend another one of our retreats/events in the near future.

Both Juita and I aim to hold a safe space full of love and compassion as it is meant to be a relaxing day for you to enjoy without any pressure. All activities are voluntary so you have the freedom to participate only in

things you are comfortable with and to share as little or as much as you want.
